Why do we cry?

Does crying actually help? Does it really make us feel better? But why do we cry from our eyes? It doesn't make sense, but i think we cry to show we care.  To it seem like it really does matter.  When people care for us we realize we really matter.  The way we know people and see the true person they really are is through their eyes... Lets be honest who cries? babies. Thats it. I just change from real me to fake me because people found out what my name is... frustrating... I want to cry.
